Conversion Optimization for Convoy's Self-Serve Booking Funnel

About the Project

Convoy was launching Shipper Platform, a self-serve product where small shippers book freight on the spot market without going through an account manager. Getting the product live was half the job. The other half was the problem every online store has: visitors who arrive, check the price, and leave without converting.

What I did

Built and launched the MVP in one month with a team of 3
Designed and ran pricing experiments and incentives on the booking funnel — measuring where prospective shippers dropped off, then iterating the pricing strategy against real behavior
Improved customer conversion by 50% through those experiments
Designed and led a prepaid payment system (Stripe + Workday) so self-serve customers could onboard and convert without a credit check — removing friction from the funnel without adding risk to the business

Why this is on a DTC consultant's profile

Years before I ran conversion audits for e-commerce stores, this was the same discipline: instrument the funnel, find where people drop, test a fix, measure the lift. A freight booking platform and a product page are different surfaces with the same physics.

Pricing experiments and funnel work that lifted customer conversion 50% on Convoy's self-serve freight booking platform. The same discipline I now apply to DTC store audits.
