🪩 About the Brand

Código Pop is that space that comes alive after the credits roll, on the last page, or in the song you can’t get out of your head. Created by Sofy and Rebeca, the podcast celebrates the joy of talking about movies, series, books, and music the same way friends do — with laughter, curiosity, and a little bit of chaos. It’s pop culture without pretension: spontaneous, genuine, and full of heart.
The brand needed to reflect this authentic and approachable personality — a space where ideas flow, nostalgia meets new trends, and everything feels connected by the magic of storytelling.

🎨 The Creative Outcome

The visual identity of Código Pop captures the energy and playfulness of pop culture through a mix of bold typography, vibrant colors, and dynamic compositions. Each element was designed to feel alive and conversational, echoing the spontaneous tone of the hosts.
The logo embodies duality — structure and spontaneity — mirroring how the podcast balances insightful commentary with casual conversation. The color palette is nostalgic yet modern, creating an emotional link with both retro pop references and contemporary design sensibilities.

🎯 Goals

The main objectives of the branding project were:
To build a visual identity that feels as genuine and fun as the hosts themselves.
To create cohesion across digital platforms — from cover art to social media graphics.
To evoke curiosity and recognition, making Código Pop stand out in the growing podcast landscape.
To translate the “after the credits” concept into a visual language that feels cinematic, familiar, and playful.

🧩 The Process

The project began with research into the podcast’s narrative tone and its cultural references — from classic movies to 2000s music icons. Moodboards explored textures, type, and color schemes inspired by pop culture memorabilia.
Next came explorations of logo concepts, testing combinations of typography and layout that conveyed energy and fluidity. Once the core identity was established, it expanded into a complete visual system, including podcast covers, promotional assets, and social templates.
Throughout the process, collaboration with Sofy and Rebeca was key. Their input and humor shaped the tone, ensuring the final design truly reflected their personalities and friendship.

✨ The Results

The final branding brought Código Pop to life with a cohesive, expressive, and memorable identity. It resonates with listeners and immediately communicates the podcast’s essence — casual yet thoughtful, nostalgic yet current.
After the rebrand, Código Pop gained stronger visual recognition and consistency across platforms, making it easier to connect with its audience and attract new listeners. The brand now feels like what it always was meant to be: an open, colorful space for pop culture lovers to feel at home.
