I was inspired to make this illustration after watching the photo shoot and music video of MAMAMOO's Solar of her song HONEY(꿀).
The color palettes, the concept, and the visuals of the MV caught my attention from the first watch. The strike of inspiration hit when this scene appeared:

I instantly fell in love with the newspaper dress and the background full of newspapers and images, it has a vintage and sophisticated aesthetic in contrast to the really colorful and bright colors found throughout the MV.
The top right image was my direct reference for the illustration. By using the Procreate app and intervening with an image of newspapers for the background I created the final artwork!
