I went cold turkey on engagement. Stopped commenting. Stopped interacting. Just posted.
The result? Reach dropped significantly even though I was still posting content.
Left image: 267 comments when I had a full rhythm in place, posting + engaging consistently.
Right image: 40 comments when I posted but didn't engage with others.
What this proves: Social platforms reward ecosystems, not just content. Posting is one part. Engaging with others, commenting, interacting, showing up, signals positively and is rewarding.
This is what I'm telling more and more of my clients this year: "it's not just about posting. It's about building a rhythm that the rewards all your efforts".
