This quiz was created to generate leads for a woman's health program. It uses a published algorithm for determining the hormones likely causing symptoms in distressed women.

After creating a brain health program for a client (the Ageless Brain membership program discussed in a separate project) I went on to create another brain health program specifically designed to cater to the brain health challenges faced by women.

These challenges are distinct from those faced by men, and the scientific evidence increasingly points to the period of hormonal chaos surrounding the menopausal years as being a strongly influencing factor in whether a woman will develop mild cognitive impairment or even dementia in the years ahead.

Because this is the case I decided a good approach to building a list of prospects for this program would be to create a quiz which appeals to those women still able to do something about their brain health years or even decades before it might become an issue for them.

After some amount of research on the topic of hormone dysfunction in women I came across an algorithm published by a chemist who specialized in hormone dysfunction analysis.

He figured out, based on all the data he had collected from blood tests and the reported symptomatology of women providing those blood samples, what the correlation is between symptoms and hormone dysfunction.

So I was able to build a quiz which takes as input 40+ responses to questions about the presence or absence of a given symptom, and map it to the hormones most likely to be playing a part in the manifestation of those symptoms.

This means that in addition to being able to help women identify the hormones most likely to be causing them grief, I am also able to provide them with information which might be useful for finding a remedy for specific symptoms.

In fact I later went on to create an entirely separate women's health program which spells out the effect of dysfunctional hormone metabolism on the lives of women approaching menopause.

As with all the quizzes I create to implement precision messaging, the Menopause Persona quiz is custom built. Rather than use off-the-shelf software for my quizzes, I code them by hand so that I can add whatever functionality I need as it occurs to me. This makes my quiz funnels very flexible and allows for a very high degree of personalization.
