XRayAI serves two audiences with one engine. Business owners upload a card-processing statement and get a plain-English breakdown of every fee, with PCI tracking and alerts for silent rate hikes. Vetted payment providers get a pipeline of merchants who already know their numbers.

The Challenge

Around 90% of US businesses overpay for card processing and 80% of owners cannot fully read their statements.
Providers spend half their week prospecting cold and explaining basic pricing.
Three surfaces were needed: a marketing site, a merchant portal and a partner portal.

What We Built

Statement upload and analysis that tags interchange, separates network cost from processor markup and flags non-compliance fees.
Benchmarks against similar businesses, PCI compliance tracking and alerts when a bill quietly changes.
A marketplace where merchants take their verified baseline and pull real offers without a sales call.
A partner portal with onboarding, a live pipeline of opted-in merchants and deal tools.

How We Did It

Architecture: three Next.js apps on one Python service.
AI: the pipeline cleans the statement PDF and hands interpretation to Claude, which reads it the way a payments analyst would.
Trust: every output traces to a line on the merchant's own statement, and data never crosses to providers until the merchant opts in, enforced in code.

Outcome

Merchants typically identify 10 to 30% savings against what they pay today.
Providers start every conversation with verified data, so close rates go up and cycle times come down.
Delivered in four months across merchant.xrayai.io and partner.xrayai.io.
