Hope's End is a specialized Twilight Imperium league website redesigned around fast player access, shared scoring, clear rules, and lightweight administration.
THE CHALLENGE
A league app created on another platform had become difficult to continue managing across multiple AI tools. The replacement needed to preserve the league's identity while making scoring simple enough for players to use without accounts.
The product also needed to respect game-specific scoring rules, allow a player to enter scores for anyone at the table, and keep administrative actions available without putting them in the primary player flow.
MY ROLE
• Defined the league rules and user roles • Specified the no-sign-in, link-access experience • Designed the player-selection and shared-scoring requirements • Defined administrator visibility and removal controls • Clarified achievement and league-point rules • Reviewed usability and rule accuracy through iteration • Managed the AI-assisted migration and rebuild
KEY PRODUCT DECISIONS
• Players select their name instead of creating an account • Anyone with access may submit scores for any player • Administrative controls are separated from the normal scoring experience • A secret administrator path and a secondary menu location keep management available but unobtrusive • Qualifying achievements add five league points in addition to the player's victory-point result • The interface distinguishes scoreable achievements from the larger set of game achievements
DELIVERABLES
• Product requirements • Player and administrator workflows • AI-assisted responsive league interface • Game-specific scoring logic definition • Usability and rules testing • Public deployed website
WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATES
Domain-driven product design, requirements gathering, role and permission thinking, edge-case testing, usability judgment, and migration management.
This is a community league project. It is presented as a product and workflow case study, not as a paid commercial client engagement.
