Neural Codex is a non-profit organisation providing the general public with tools and resources to help them understand the risks and benefits of AI.

Challenge

The rise of AI in daily life has cemented itself as a technology that is here to stay. Although there are positive attributes, AI presents a range of risks and implications.
How could we establish Neural Codex as a leading voice in the space and help them present information about AI in a way that is digestible for beginners and trusted by academics?

Outcome

The identity is an intentional departure from expected graphic tropes surrounding AI and similar tech-centric themes. A suite of organic illustrations inject a human element to counteract the daunting and robotic nature of AI, whilst adding a distinct layer of personality.
We created an ownable name that represents academic rigour, supported by a visual language that instills trust, and imparts knowledge in an approachable and fresh package for a wide range of audiences.
