This project explores the visual storytelling potential of a perfume through 3D product design and animation. The goal was to create awareness and simulate a promotional advert using high-end visuals and dynamic compositions.
My Role
I handled the entire creative process — from initial storyboard sketches to the final presentation — including 3D modeling, texturing, environment design, lighting, animation, and post-production.
Tools Used
Blender – Modeling, lighting, animation, and rendering
Photoshop – Label design and branding
After Effects – Post-processing and composition
Process
1. Storyboarding
The project began with hand-drawn storyboards outlining the sequence and mood for the advert, focusing on elegance, mood shifts, and product focus.
2. Modeling & Texturing
Using the Betres Coco perfume as a reference, I created a detailed 3D model of the bottle. The label was designed in Photoshop and applied in Blender using custom materials and UV mapping.
3. Environment & Lighting
I built minimalist scenes and used lighting to evoke three moods:
Daytime – Soft, natural highlights
Evening – Warm, golden-hour ambiance
Nighttime – Bold contrast with a luxurious tone
4. Animation
I created a short animation highlighting key angles, movement, and lighting transitions to enhance the product's visual appeal.
5. Post-production
Color grading and final compositing were done in After Effects to polish the animation and stills for a cinematic look.
Final Renders & Animation
High-resolution stills for daytime, evening, and nighttime scenes
A full product animation sequence capturing the perfume's essence
Conclusion
This project allowed me to combine storytelling, lighting design, and 3D product visualization into a cohesive visual advert. It reflects my passion for realism, mood, and high-quality execution in 3D design.
