My role was to create the look and feel for Softy Soft, a tissue brand in South Africa. The challenge was to make it feel special and top-notch. Using my design skills, I crafted a logo and branding that exudes a sense of luxury for this premium tissue company.

I started with the logo. The aim was to make it simple but stylish. In the design software, I played with shapes and fonts until I found a combination that felt both gentle and high-end. The result is a logo that speaks to the softness of the tissues while conveying a sense of sophistication.

Colour Palette:

Choosing the right colors was crucial. Softy Soft wanted to feel premium, so I selected a palette that reflects elegance and cleanliness. Soft tones like pastel blues and whites were used to create a sense of purity and luxury, ensuring the brand stands out on the shelves.
For the text, I went for a clean and modern font that adds to the overall upscale vibe. It needed to be easily readable while also giving off a sense of refinement. This choice of typography enhances the brand’s image as a high-quality product.

Bringing it All Together:

Combining the logo, colors, and typography in the design software allowed me to see how everything would work together. I made sure the elements complemented each other to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity.
Incorporating the branding into the packaging design was a crucial step. Using the design software, I created packaging that not only protects the tissues but also enhances the overall sense of luxury. The goal was to make customers feel they’re indulging in a premium product from the moment they see the package.
Throughout the process, I kept in mind the client’s vision of Softy Soft as a premium brand. The design had to align with their goals and resonate with their target audience. Regular communication ensured that the final product met their expectations.

Final Touches and Delivery:

Once the design was perfected, I made sure to add those final touches that elevate the brand. Shadows, highlights, and other subtle details were adjusted to make the logo and branding pop. The final designs were delivered in formats ready for various applications, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
In crafting the logo and branding for Softy Soft, my aim was to create a visual identity that screams luxury. Through thoughtful choices in colors, typography, and design elements, the final result is a premium look that aligns perfectly with the client’s vision. Softy Soft is now not just a tissue brand; it’s an experience of gentle luxury for customers in South Africa.
