Brand Content Design for Tender Photos

Client: Tender Photos Role: Brand & Social Content Designer Scope: Instagram Reel + Multi-Page Carousel Design Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva

Overview: Tender Photos is a creative platform that celebrates and supports African photographers and writers through thoughtful curation and storytelling. I had the opportunity to work with them on two impactful social media campaigns that helped amplify their brand voice and attract a creative community across the continent.

Phase 1: Instagram Reel Announcement My first task was to craft a visually striking and emotionally engaging Instagram Reel that introduced Tender Photos to their online audience. The goal was to set a tone bold yet tender that reflects their mission. I developed the visual direction, animation pacing, text overlays, and music pairing to ensure the reel felt both cinematic and approachable, resulting in high engagement and shares.

Phase 2: 5-Page Carousel for Call for Applications The second project involved designing a 5-slide Instagram carousel to announce a Call for Applications targeting African photographers and writers. Each slide was carefully structured to maintain visual consistency while guiding the user through essential information what Tender Photos is, who can apply, the benefits, deadlines, and how to apply. The layout combined clean typography with expressive visuals to evoke both clarity and inspiration.

Impact: These designs not only elevated the brand's digital presence but also sparked engagement and applications from creatives across Africa. The content aligned closely with Tender Photos' identity soft, intentional, and story-led and gave their audience a reason to pause, explore, and participate.
