Project Overview: I was commissioned to redesign Barry E. Jackson's (renowned Hollywood Art Director) website with Framer. The primary goal: enhance user engagement and convert visitors into students for his 9-week art course. The initial site lacked depth in content and visual appeal, which did not effectively communicate the value of the course or the authority of Barry.

Scope of Work:

Strategic Planning: Analyzed the existing site to identify areas for improvement in user experience and conversion optimization.

Design Overhaul:

Authority Establishment: Integrated elements from Mr. Jackson’s robust career in Hollywood, showcasing his credentials through high-quality images of his work and a detailed biography highlighting his achievements.

Content Development:

Crafted persuasive copy to guide potential students through the value of the course, emphasizing:

Benefits of the Course: Detailed how the course could benefit aspiring artists, including career advancement, skill development, and industry exposure.

Course Structure: Explained the curriculum, schedule, and learning outcomes to set clear expectations.

Social Proof: Added testimonials from past students to build trust and credibility.

Visual & UI Enhancement: Redesigned the layout for better navigation, with a focus on visual storytelling that reflects Mr. Jackson's artistic style.

E-commerce Integration: Developed an online store within the site for selling Mr. Jackson’s publications, including children’s books and his art book.

Results:

Conversion Optimization: The new design significantly improved the user journey towards course enrollment, making the path to sign-up easy and compelling.

Client Satisfaction: Barry Jackson was highly satisfied with the new website, "Chris, this is very cool!" noting its professionalism, clarity in his course benefits, and its overall aesthetic alignment with his personality and life's work.

Current Status: The project is in its final stages, with the new website design pending launch. We are currently working on the last minute adjustments before going live.
