Overview

A web-based financial and administrative management system designed to bring key municipal processes into one structured workspace for daily staff use.

The problem

Municipal financial management involves different types of records, approvals, permissions, reports, and administrative documentation. The challenge was to organize these processes in a clear system where staff could manage and review information according to their responsibilities.

The solution

I developed a Django-based internal system that centralizes financial and administrative workflows in a structured web application. It supports income, expenses, transfers, approval states, role-based access, reporting, record management, and document generation.
The system was designed around the organization’s day-to-day processes, with different levels of access and visibility depending on each user’s role.

Key features

Income, expense and transfer management
Approval workflows and record status management
Role-based users and permissions
Financial dashboards and reports
Filters and record search
Administrative record management
PDF and document generation

Outcome

The result is a structured internal workspace designed to support the organization’s daily financial and administrative management.

Visual guidance

Use fictional, anonymized, blurred, or demo data only. Avoid government, financial, employee, citizen, client, or other confidential information. Recommended visuals include a dashboard overview, a financial record detail view, an approval workflow view, a filtered report, and a sample generated PDF with sensitive information removed.
