Mahogany House

Mahogany House is a contemporary bed & breakfast located on 2 acres of woodland in Anchorage, Alaska. A candidate for the National Register of Historical places, the home boasts indoor waterfalls, gardens and copper-hooded fire pits. The bed & breakfast's decor is distinctly mid-century modern. Much of the interior is warm redwood and the outdoor siding is a rich mahogany, where it takes it's name. The Mahogany House identity is as distinctly contemporary as it is Alaskan, drawing inspiration from the heritage and culture of the native Inuit tribes, reinterpreted in a modern spirit.
