The Fox Mercantile: Located along Cortez Road, on your way to Anna Maria Island. If you are not looking, you just might miss it. The Fox Mercantile is one of my favorite hangout spots. From its adorable and relaxing garden setting to the carefully curated selection of homewares and coffee, it's a true gem where I love to unwind and connect with friends.
Swordfish Grill & Tiki Bar: If you are craving fresh seafood with a side of waterfront views, Swordfish Grill & Tiki Bar is a go-to destination. Located in the historic Cortez Fishing Village, this casual spot never disappoints, whether enjoying a leisurely lunch or catching live music under the stars.
Anna Maria Island Moose: For the ultimate beachfront experience, AMI Moose never fails to impress. With its prime location overlooking the Gulf and laid-back atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to catch a breathtaking sunset while indulging in delicious food and drinks.
Clancy’s Irish Pub & Grill: If you are in the mood for a lively atmosphere and hearty pub fare, Clancy’s Irish Pub & Grill is a must stop. With its welcoming vibes and eclectic entertainment lineup, it’s always a fun night out whether you are enjoying a pint of Guinness or joining in on karaoke with friends.
Skinny’s Place: Last but certainly not least, Skinny’s Place is a beloved island institution. With its nostalgic charm and mouthwatering burgers, it's the perfect spot to grab a bite after a day at the beach – and those frosty mugs are simply irresistible.
As a resident of the Bradenton area, there is an abundance of culinary delights to enjoy. These are only five of my favorite spots. I could go on and on about this area. These five favorite spots each offer a unique dining experience that captures the essence of the area and island living.
