Stack was born out of an overwhelming frustration with the listening experience on radio and other music apps. At Stack we love music and we wanted to be able to hear music without the usual, annoying load of commercial tricks. We wanted to hear the music we love.

These days the process involved in listening to music is never-ending, making playlists, switching radio stations, avoiding ads and having to go through millions of songs. It was wearing us down. We weren’t listening to music as much anymore and that saddened us. We missed music and wanted to create a simple way to get fantastic music, all the time, with the one button that absurdly gets the least love – play.
