CUSTOMER DATA RESCUE
Excel cleanup and a CRM-ready customer database
Independent portfolio demonstration. All names and customer records are fictional.
THE PROBLEM
A sample customer spreadsheet contained duplicate rows, inconsistent capitalization, extra spaces and missing contact fields. Those issues made filtering, reporting and CRM import harder.
THE WORK
I preserved the raw file, standardized text formats and reviewed duplicates using non-empty email addresses after trimming spaces and normalizing case. Missing contact details remained blank and were flagged for review. I then prepared a structured Excel database, CSV export and data-quality summary.
THE RESULT
96 original rows became 88 customer records after 8 confirmed duplicate rows were removed. Seven missing phone numbers and three missing emails were flagged rather than invented. The workbook includes the original data, cleaned data, dashboard, quality report and a start guide.
WHAT THIS SHOWS
A traceable cleanup process, a consistent structure for CRM import and a clear handover. The customer approves uncertain records and destination field mappings before a real import.
