One of the things I wanted to explore in this project was the use of displacement maps to create a more seamless transition between modeling and texturing using Octane Renderer. I was really impressed with how well Octane handled the displacement maps, and it really helped to blur the lines between the two processes. I found that using displacement maps allowed me to achieve a level of detail and realism in my model that would have been difficult to achieve using traditional modeling and texturing techniques. Overall, I was really pleased with the results of my experiment, and I will definitely be using displacement maps and Octane renderer in future projects.
