Overview
This automation is the natural evolution of the AI article rewriting workflow. Once a new article is generated and saved as a draft on WordPress, this second flow activates the moment the post is published — automatically turning that article into a complete social media post with visual, caption, and hashtags, ready to be shared across all major platforms.
How it works:
Trigger: WordPress Post Status Change
When a post switches from “Draft” to “Published”, the automation starts.
Get Post Content
Title, category, and feature image are extracted via the WordPress API.
Placid – Image Generation
Using the featured image of the article, a branded cover image is auto-generated with:
The article’s title
Your site’s logo
Custom layout (designed in Placid)
OpenAI – Content Summary + Hashtags
The article content is sent to OpenAI, which:
Summarizes the article for social captions
Generates platform-optimized hashtags
Returns a final social-ready message
Smart Routing to Social Channels
Using a router, the post is customized and shared across:
Instagram (via Facebook Business API)
X (formerly Twitter)
Facebook Pages
Discord (as log/notification)
Confirmation in Discord
A final message is sent to your Discord channel with status update and post URLs.
