A cinematic motion site designed and built for a venture capital firm. The brief called for something that felt more like a film than a website, with every interaction reinforcing the firm's premium positioning.
Landing page detail
What I Built
Fullscreen video background that sets the tone immediately on load
Character-by-character headline animation with precise timing and easing
Liquid glass UI elements that respond to scroll and cursor movement
Staggered reveal sequences across sections, giving the page a choreographed feel
Scroll-driven interactions that reward exploration without interrupting flow
The Approach
The client needed a site that would stand out in a space where most VC firms default to the same minimal template. The goal was cinematic presence without sacrificing usability. Every motion element serves a purpose: guiding attention, reinforcing hierarchy, and making the brand feel alive.
The entire site was built from scratch with a focus on performance. Heavy motion work like this can easily tank load times, so every animation was optimized to run at 60fps without bloating the bundle.
Tech Stack
React for the component architecture
GSAP for timeline-based animation choreography
Framer for rapid prototyping and interaction design
Custom CSS for the liquid glass effects and responsive layout
The Result
A site that positions the firm as forward-thinking and design-conscious in a sector where most competitors look identical. The motion design creates an emotional response within the first 3 seconds of landing, which is exactly what a VC firm needs when courting founders and LPs.
From design to development to deployment, this was a single-point-of-contact build through LintéForge.
