As a Senior UX Designer, I played a pivotal role in the development of the first digital onboarding journey for UBL, a groundbreaking initiative in Pakistan's banking sector. This project was particularly challenging due to the stringent regulatory requirements and the technological constraints we faced. Through iterative design processes, we successfully navigated these challenges, ensuring a seamless and compliant user experience.

I was actively involved in conducting comprehensive market and user research, which informed the creation of detailed user personas. These personas were instrumental in guiding the design of wireframes and prototypes. Additionally, I led usability testing sessions to validate our designs and gather critical feedback for further refinements.

My contributions extended beyond design; I actively participated in design thinking workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ideate and innovate. Our team at IBM supported UBL in establishing the first digital lab in Pakistan by developing a robust digital transformation strategy, user guides, and a Target Operating Model (TOM). This foundational work not only facilitated the successful launch of the digital onboarding journey but also set a precedent for future innovation within the banking industry in Pakistan.
