Project Overview

Zebaana is a private atelier and luxury e-commerce platform for Pakistani women's couture β€” built for a global clientele across the US, UK, UAE, Europe, and beyond. The platform positions itself firmly in the quiet luxury segment, where the digital experience is as considered as the garments themselves.
Cuboid designed and developed the platform end-to-end β€” from brand identity and UI to infrastructure, payments, and international logistics integration.

The Challenge

Luxury Pakistani fashion has a significant global market but is poorly served digitally. Existing platforms either compromise on aesthetics or fail on the operational side β€” unreliable international shipping, no DDP pricing transparency, and checkout flows that erode trust before purchase.
Zebaana needed a platform that could reflect the brand's premium positioning without visual compromise, serve 16 international regions with accurate all-inclusive DDP pricing, and handle the full post-purchase flow β€” tracking, exchanges, returns β€” without customer friction.

Our Solution

We built Zebaana on Angular and Medusa.js, with a PostgreSQL database, Redis for caching, and deployed on Azure with Cloudflare handling performance and security at the edge.
All-inclusive DDP pricing was a core decision β€” duties and taxes are calculated and absorbed at checkout, eliminating the surprise charges on delivery that consistently kill conversion for international luxury buyers.
Payments run through Safepay with a checkout flow that matches the brand's standard. SendGrid and Twilio power transactional emails and SMS notifications across order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery β€” across all 16 regional storefronts.

Experience Design Highlights

The UI was designed to hold its own against global luxury benchmarks β€” Toteme, The Row, and similar references shaped the visual direction:
Cinematic hero sections with restrained typography and deliberate negative space
Collection editorial pages styled as atelier lookbooks, not product grids
A private Inner Circle membership flow for early access to limited releases
Supporting pages β€” fabric glossary, size guide, philosophy β€” that build brand depth beyond the transactional

Business Impact

Zebaana serves customers across 16 international markets from a single platform. The DDP model removes the single biggest conversion barrier in international luxury e-commerce. The SEO-optimised architecture β€” semantic HTML, metadata, structured data β€” was built for organic discovery from day one, anchoring the brand's presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Final Outcome

Zebaana launched as a fully operational luxury e-commerce platform that doesn't ask international buyers to compromise on experience, pricing transparency, or post-purchase support. It demonstrates Cuboid's ability to deliver at the intersection of brand precision and engineering rigour, for clients where both matter equally.
