The Project

Team Karate Attorney is a martial arts school in Marietta, Georgia, built around the belief that courage, discipline, and confidence develop through training.

The project involved creating a website that communicates the school's philosophy, introduces its martial arts programs, and connects prospective students and families with the upcoming school.

The Challenge

The website needed to communicate more than martial arts classes. It had to tell the founder's story, establish a recognizable identity, and make information accessible to both parents and adult students.

My Approach

I focused on clear visual storytelling, structured content, responsive layouts, and straightforward navigation.

The website brings together three disciplines — Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Muay Thai — while emphasizing confidence, resilience, and personal growth.

The founding-interest registration experience gives visitors a direct way to express interest before the school opens.

Design & Development

The project combines website design with functional front-end implementation, emphasizing mobile usability, content organization, and accessible calls to action.

For this portfolio presentation, I also explored a more cinematic visual treatment to showcase the brand through premium desktop and mobile mockups.

The Outcome

A website experience that communicates the school's mission, introduces its programs, shares the founder's story, and provides a clear path for prospective students to join the founding-interest list.
