Hex Security is a YC-backed cybersecurity company that needed a visual identity capable of communicating immediate, enterprise-grade trust. When selling security infrastructure to enterprise clients, your brand is your first line of credibility. The challenge was to build a system that felt mathematically engineered, authoritative, and deeply secure, without falling into the tired, legacy corporate aesthetic.

For a high-stakes YC startup, a simple logo isn't enough; they need a defensible visual system. I took full ownership of the end-to-end process—from conceptualizing the brand strategy to the final web execution.

The Mark: I engineered the primary logo on a strict geometric grid using precise 45-degree angles and intersecting quarter-circles. It doesn't just look secure; it is structurally locked in.

The Textures: To contrast the rigid geometry of the logo, I introduced complex, dithered organic textures. This creates a deliberate visual tension, representing the chaos of the digital landscape being managed by the precision of Hex's security.

The Palette: I established a stark, uncompromising monochrome system (Raisin Black, Lynx White, and pure White). It is confident, high-contrast, and leaves absolutely no room for ambiguity.

A premium brand only works if it survives the transition to the screen. I handled the complete Framer development to ensure the identity scaled flawlessly into an interactive environment. Because cybersecurity products must live in both dark and light environments, I built the brand to invert perfectly.

I optimized the heavy dithered assets and crisp SVG lockups directly within Framer, ensuring the site remained blazing fast while supporting seamless Light and Dark mode browsing.
