I started with research in the form of quick surveys from existing users, to understand current pain points and challenges. The initial research highlighted a deeper issue with the app, one single home screen having too many different functions, with some functions being useless to the majority of users. This issue created confusion and a lot of frustration causing users to abandon the app before completing a transaction. It also lead very negative reviews, with explanations like "The app doesn't work" or "The app is broken and needs fixing".
