Building a Future of harmony with nature; Custom T-shirts to express your love for wildlife Conservation!
One of the most thoughtful words from Theodore Roosevelt about wildlife conservation goes like this; “The wildlife and its habitat cannot speak, So we must and we will”. One could have multiple reasons to advocate for the protection and conservation of wild animals and their habitat. Nevertheless, everything ultimately comes down to the fundamental instinct of the humankind to empathize and our deep-rooted propensity for feeling emotions for every life on this planet. It is indeed disappointing that in this fast-paced world, not much has been done towards taking effective steps to maintain the rich resources we have in the wild. But the actions we take individually, in our own little ways, also matter, doesn’t it?! We, at Gubbacci are making our move to promote our gorgeous, majestic friends in the wild, who we think need your attention and love. Here is a collection to voice out your love and concern for nature and wild life.
To the mesmerizing King Tigers in Sundarbans
The mangroves in Sundarbans are evergreen. It is named after the ‘Sundari’ trees, scientifically referred to as Heritiera fomes, abundantly spotted among these mangroves. Picture a ferocious Sundarban Tigress drifting through the water courses amidst the dense canopy, caring less about anything around her, towards an island nearby. No wildlife enthusiast can turn away from a natural frame like that! Tigers in Sundarbans are considered as guardians of forest. They know no boundaries and can be spread out throughout their territories lavishly. According to studies, each tiger inhabits and identifies about 16 kilometers from its living station, but roams all over the woods. Sundarban tigers face risk of extinction due to climate change and rise in sea level. Nevertheless, recent research suggest that the population of these big cats have risen during 2019 to 2020 in consequence to growing awareness about wildlife, globally and nationally. Check out this premium piece from Gubbacci, optimized for all types of print, double bio washed and 100% cotton, a stylish T-shirt that a Tiger lover would be proud to own.
To The Giant Predators of Ranthambore
Noor (T-39) is a well-known tigress of Ranthambore fraternity. Noor is also known to be one of the great mothers and is the first choice of tourists. Krishna, Singhsth, Arrow Head, Kumbha, Machhali, Laila, Packman are the other spectacular tigers in Ranthambore wildlife. Machali loved to pose for tourists and observers and was thus the most photographed tigress until she expired in 2016. Romeo, known as the longing lover is always seen to be trying to catch the attention of his companion. Laila is the most interesting one, where she attracts her regular mates and still flirt with others. Every tiger in Ranthambore has a special reputation and a legacy of its own. Official report states that due to lack of territory, many tigers have migrated to other areas in search of resources. Nevertheless, these gorgeous beings, when seen in real, fascinates, delights and leaves you mesmerized. Here is a Gubacci tribute for the Ranthambore kings and queens, This collection is a tribute to the Kings and Queens of Ranthambore by Gubbacci.
Saya, the black lone panther of Kabini
Saya is a 7 year old melanistic leopard(Black Panther) who flaunts in a black thick coat among the dense canopies of Kabini in Karnataka. Scarface, a prominent alpha male is the most significant adversary of Saya. Karia, is the only other black panther in the world whose territory overlaps a tourist zone. A Black panther is not a separate species, but a regular leopard or jaguar with a genetic mutation. Their sparkling yellow eyes and their dramatic gaze is a sight to behold for wild life lovers. During summer, when there is little water and the forest is bare, it is easier to sight these majestic beings. It was during 2014-2015, these black beauties were spotted in Kabini for the first time. It was quite a perplexing appearance for people since these creatures were never recorded to have existed there previously. Spotting a panther in Kabini is an unforgettable experience and so will be your buy from Gubbacci of this beautifully printed T-shirt.
One-Horned Rhinoceros of Kaziranga
Kaziranga National Park is one of the two places with the highest Rhino density in the world and has more than 100 of them. These hairless, brownish-grey coloured beasts can run up to a speed of 25mph and is known to be an excellent swimmer. Except during mating and fighting, adult males are mostly loners. These giants are also known for their very interesting vocalisations like snorting, honking, bleating, rumbling, groaning and at the same time are said to be very friendly in nature. Unfortunately, these beautiful beings are also facing the threat of extinction due to encroachment and human harassment. While loss of habitat and inbreeding are also other reasons for their reduction in numbers, poaching still tops the list. As a step towards conservation, last September a ceremony was held where about 2500 rhino horns were recovered and burned by the authorities publicly. It is the myth that rhino horns have magical properties, which needs to be busted to keep them saved from the humankind. We need to also constantly and strongly reinforce the truth that these horns do not have any kind of medicinal values. This piece from Gubbacci is a must have for someone who is into rhino prints on their T-shirts
Every movement starts with awareness, then an honest effort and a consistent commitment to conserve anything that propels life. It goes without saying that, in order to save and conserve these unique wildlife population, authorities concerned need to work together and implement a conservation strategy that constructively addresses the issues relating to poaching and habitat destruction. At the same time, we need to voice out these pressing concerns about wildlife on an individual level also. These are some ways one can make a difference.
1. Adopt an animal from a wildlife conservation organization like World Wildlife Fund.
2. Volunteer at zoos and botanical gardens
3. Donate when you visit your local zoos and nature reserves
4. Do not buy products made from endangered animals
5. Recycle, Reuse and Reduce waste
We also believe that wearing Gubbacci T-shirts and expressing your love for wildlife creates awareness
