This project wasn't just another web app endeavor for me. From my perspective, it was an opportunity to contribute to my community and country by offering an accessible and efficient means to connect job seekers with employers, thereby significantly impacting the job market and the economy as a whole.
The primary objective was to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers by developing a platform that facilitated easy job searches tailored to individual requirements. It needed to be robust yet quick-loading since a majority of users had slower internet connections. Additionally, the challenge lay in integrating all the necessary features for job seekers to receive personalized recommendations while ensuring the platform remained easily accessible and user-friendly.
By leveraging Nuxt with Tailwind CSS, we were able to craft a visually appealing and swift-loading website.
Given the substantial scale of the project and its diverse range of features, my role involved meticulously implementing the UI with pixel-perfect precision. I not only contributed to the frontend development team but also took charge of ensuring an optimal user experience by making the site responsive across all devices. Additionally, I developed a user-friendly tour guide to assist first-time users in navigating the web app seamlessly. Being part of the process to not only make the web app functional but also optimize its usability was an immensely rewarding experience.
