Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, exceptional grooming skills, and the ability to create a positive and comfortable grooming experience for dogs of all breeds and sizes. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs' coats, as well as maintaining a clean and safe grooming environment.

Responsibilities:

Grooming Services: Perform grooming services according to breed standards and client preferences, including bathing, brushing, haircutting, and nail trimming.

Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their preferences and requirements for their dogs' grooming, and provide recommendations based on breed characteristics and coat condition.

Handling and Safety: Safely handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.

Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of each dog's grooming history, including any special requests, health concerns, or specific instructions from clients.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, discussing grooming options, and ensuring client satisfaction with the grooming results.

Continued Education: Stay informed about the latest grooming techniques, tools, and industry trends through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a Dog Groomer, with expertise in grooming various breeds.

Knowledge: Understanding of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and understand their grooming preferences.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and restrain dogs as necessary, and perform grooming tasks that may require physical strength and agility.

Certification: No specific certification is required but is a plus.
