Cover image for EdBinder (https://edbinder.com/) is a US
EdBinder (https://edbinder.com/) is a US job network that matches schools with bilingual teachers. The business runs on AI matching, and AI matching only works if teachers actually complete their profile. Most job platforms get this wrong: they ask for everything up front and people abandon halfway through. I worked on the teacher side of the product. The profile had to collect a resume, a cover letter and the details a school really uses to decide, while feeling like building something of your own instead of filling out a form. Every field a teacher completes is a field the matching engine can use, so completion here isn’t a vanity metric, it’s the product working. The goal was a profile a school can find and evaluate on its own, inside a pool of more than 3,000 bilingual educators.

Cover image for La Casa Films (https://www.lacasafilms.com/) produces
La Casa Films (https://www.lacasafilms.com/) produces film and stills for international brands shooting across Chile, Argentina, Mexico and the US. Their problem wasn’t aesthetics. A producer in New York or London has to believe, within seconds, that a shoot in Patagonia will run as smoothly as one in California. I designed and built the site in Framer, in English, with almost no copy. Full-screen film and stills carry the argument, and projects filter by the country they were shot in, because that’s the first question a producer asks. Each project opens into a full-bleed gallery, and the contact form goes straight to the founders and the sales team. The content is structured so search engines and AI assistants can understand what the company does and where it operates, which is where a lot of these briefs start now. The team publishes new work through the CMS without needing a designer or a developer.

Cover image for El Cerrito farms 87 hectares
El Cerrito farms 87 hectares of table grapes in Chile, 14 of them organic. Their intranet ran on SharePoint and nobody wanted to open it. Hard to navigate, hard to read, and every content change had to go through someone technical. I redesigned the pages, the sections and the content structure, and built custom web parts that follow Microsoft’s guidelines. The brief had two users, not one. The people reading in the field and the people publishing from the office. Every web part ships with a simple properties panel, so the team updates harvest calendars, :shipment status, news and maintenance indicators without filing a ticket. The result is an intranet the team runs on its own, and a set of reusable components the site can grow with instead of breaking.

I’m Juan Carlos, I run Oragus (https://www.oragus.com) from Santiago, Chile. I design the brand and the interface, and I build the thing that goes live. AI sits in my process, not just in my portfolio, so clients see working screens in week one instead of static mockups in week three. Recent work: AI product design, a bank’s innovation lab, and brand and jersey design for cycling expeditions in Patagonia. Open to new projects.
