During the ideation process of Surge, i made the decision to match each activity to a color
This color then embodies that activity.
Here is another example of the community group chat for Cycling, users can start an event giving other member the options to accept or ignore

Throughout these flows, you will notice a consistent visual direction that is intense and welcoming at the same time. This was achieved through the use of red as primary color and well rounded corners
