From Idea to Production: Good Design Starts Long Before Manufacturing
A product isn't successful because it looks good.
It's successful because every decision from the first sketch to the final manufacturing drawing has been made with purpose.
Before any product reaches production, I ask questions like:
• Can this be manufactured efficiently?
• Is the material appropriate for its intended use?
• Can assembly be simplified?
• Will tolerances create unnecessary production issues?
• Is the design optimized for cost without sacrificing quality?
These considerations save time, reduce manufacturing costs, and minimize expensive redesigns later.
My work focuses on turning concepts into production-ready products through Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, CAD Modeling, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), prototyping, and technical documentation.
If you're building a consumer product, soft goods, toy, bag, footwear, pet product, or another physical product, planning for manufacturing from the beginning makes all the difference.
Looking forward to connecting with founders, startups, and product teams building the next generation of products.
