The idea was to keep things simple and practical. A single page that tells the story, highlights the services, and makes it easy for visitors to get in touch. No clutter, no confusion. Just a smooth experience on desktop and mobile.

Recently wrapped up a one-page website for William, a Home and Gardens business.
The goal was simple. Create a clean, professional site that clearly explains the services, feels trustworthy, and works smoothly on mobile. Since it’s a one-page layout, everything is structured for easy scrolling. Services, visuals, and contact details are all in one place without overwhelming the visitor.
I focused on:

2. Easy navigation for first-time visitors
3. Fast loading and mobile responsiveness
4. A design that matches the nature-focused Home and Gardens brand

WordPress Speed Optimization & Performance Improvement
I worked on optimizing the performance of an existing WordPress website that was struggling with slow load times and poor PageSpeed Insights results. The initial mobile performance score was 41, which was negatively affecting user experience and overall site efficiency.
After a full performance audit, I optimized caching, images, CSS and JavaScript delivery, reduced unnecessary scripts, and fine-tuned Core Web Vitals. As a result, the mobile PageSpeed score improved to 93, with faster load times and smoother interaction across devices.
The website is now fully optimized for performance, responsive on all screen sizes, and better aligned with Google’s speed and usability standards.

Just completed a custom Dinner Recipe Generator Widget for a food blog client on Upwork! 🍽️
This interactive widget allows users to filter recipes by protein, cuisine, and cooking time, then view beautifully displayed results in a responsive grid layout — all dynamically fetched from WordPress posts through the REST API.

Today, I’ve successfully completed and delivered a new client project. I worked on improving the design, structure, and overall experience and truly gave it my best. Seeing the final result feels like proof that slow progress is still progress.
This journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s real. And I’m just getting started.
