Michael Michalak

Our organization has been working with Michael on Drupal projects for over 6 years. He is prompt, professional, and personable. He has helped our organization with the development of its initial Drupal platform. He has taken the time to get to know our organization and is able to provide thoughtful solutions to our custom feature requests. Michael is a strong communicator asking good questions and explaining things clearly. He is highly responsive and quickly resolves any issues as they arise.

Michael has helped us by taking our very old Drupal websites and upgrading them with several major versions, many module and security updates, and investigated and resolved security issues found by our security software. Working with Michael has been very easy and efficient.

I would highly recommend Michael as a freelancer and teammate. I have had a wonderful experience working with him and hope to continue to get to work together into the future. He has successfully completed every project spanning many years.

I've worked with Michael Michalak for the past eight years, and he has been a reliable resource for our website and IT needs. He's knowledgeable, responsive, and willing to help troubleshoot issues when they arise. I've appreciated his support over the years and the work he's done for our organization.

Michael has been GEN's primary developer since 2021 – and he's exceptional. He has fixed our site performance issues, led our Drupal upgrades from 8 to 10, with 11 underway, built custom HubSpot, Airtable and SpotMe integrations, revamped our site commerce, rebuilt our AWS infrastructure and more. The result is a faster, more secure platform now with 797,000 active users serving entrepreneurs in 200+ countries. He is reliable, responsive and a true partner. I recommend him without reservation.

Michael is a skilled Drupal developer. I had the pleasure of working with him for a few years on a complex health and wellness client. He has keen attention to detail, is a consistent and concise communicator, highly focused on QA and quality code and an integral member of the team. He's at the top of my list whenever I need to scale my project teams.

I've worked with and managed many developers over the 30 years I've been in the field. Mike is one of the best I've ever worked with. Highly recommended.
