The Crisis (The Challenge)
On March 3, 2026, the client faced a critical account shutdown. Their developer profile and apps were taken down due to high-stakes errors:
“Google couldn't verify your identity.”
“Unverified contact phone number.”
With apps completely hidden from the public, the client was on the verge of losing years of hard work and business revenue.
My Solution & Recovery Action Plan
Identity Re-verification Audit: Meticulously reviewed and formatted the client's identity documents (National ID/Passport) to perfectly align with Google's strict, updated scanning and submission guidelines.
Phone Verification Fix: Resolved the technical glitches and country-code errors that were blocking the phone number verification, ensuring all contact points were validated.
App Restoration & Compliance: Worked directly within the console to reinstate the developer profile and republish the removed apps. Updated all account meta-data to match the latest 2026 Google Play Console Policies to prevent any future flags.
