Meet Maya
I am a journalist with experience writing news articles, event coverage, profiles and features. My writing aims to capture the voices of people and their stories. I am a staff reporter for The Columbia Chronicle, and I cover a range of campus and Chicago-wide stories. I will graduate with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2025. I was previously the Managing Editor at The Elgin Observer.
