Cover image for AI-assisted vulnerability triage & PDQ
AI-assisted vulnerability triage & PDQ Deploy remediation Built a repeatable AI-assisted workflow for processing Qualys vulnerability scan reports and turning them into actionable PDQ Deploy remediation targets. Raw PDF scan reports are ingested and triaged by severity (3, 4, 5), then grouped by affected application — Adobe, Chrome, Firefox, Java, Windows components. The output is a clean set of machine targets per application that maps directly to PDQ Deploy packages, eliminating manual report parsing. Reusable every scan cycle.

Cover image for Automated Excel License Tracker for Software Portfolio Manag...
Software license tracker — dynamic status & conditional formatting Built a centralized Excel license tracker for an engineering department's full software portfolio. Each entry captures software name, expiry date, vendor, and owner. Status (Active / Expiring Soon / Expired) is calculated automatically using date-based formulas and displayed via conditional formatting — no manual updates needed. Used daily by the IT group as the single source of truth for renewal planning, and feeds directly into an n8n automation workflow that sends proactive email alerts.

Cover image for Diagnosed and resolved a SolidWorks
Diagnosed and resolved a SolidWorks 2024 SP5 uninstall failure on a domain-joined engineering workstation. Root cause was manual program file deletion leaving orphaned MSI registry entries that blocked both Programs and Features and msiexec uninstall attempts. Resolved using Windows Installer Cleanup Tool to clear corrupt installer state, then successfully removed the remaining SolidWorks Installation Manager. Produced a formal KB article documenting the issue for future reference.

Cover image for Built a self-hosted n8n automation
Built a self-hosted n8n automation workflow to solve a real operational problem: a department managing 10+ specialized engineering software licenses with renewals spread across the calendar year and no centralized visibility. The workflow runs on a weekly schedule, reads a Google Sheets license registry, checks expiry dates, and sends a Gmail alert 20 days before any software is due for renewal — giving enough lead time to contact vendors for quotes or notify the responsible faculty member. Key technical challenge was configuring Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate a self-hosted n8n instance (running in Docker) against Google Cloud Console — including redirect URIs, scope configuration, and consent screen setup. Result: zero missed renewals, no manual checking, fully running in production. Tags/skills (if it asks): n8n, workflow automation, Google Sheets, Gmail, Docker, Google OAuth, IT operations, technical documentation
