as head of community at Contra, I helped launch our community to our creatives! the rollout took place over ~1 year where we had a small group of our beta users providing feedback and helping us build the best creative community on the internet. we finally launched the community in October 2025 and got over 2k posts in the first day. here is some of the feedback we got from our early beta users. the community is now the center of life on Contra and the best is yet to come 🚀

the contra homepage isn't your typical landing page. it's a showcase of work by contra creatives. think of it as a gallery for the best creative work on the internet 🎨 every project featured is handpicked to inspire, connect, and celebrate the people who make this community so special 💛 one of my favorite parts of my day is picking some of the projects that show up there. keep sharing your work, you never know who’s discovering you next.
