One of the reasons I started creating Beyond the Diagnosis is because I know how overwhelming it feels when someone you love is suddenly facing a serious medical condition.
When my family was thrown into that world, I spent countless hours researching, taking notes, asking questions, and trying to make sense of medical terms that felt impossible to understand. I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.
This guide is the beginning of that idea.
My goal is to create resources that explain complicated medical information in a way that's clear, compassionate, and genuinely helpful. Not just for patients, but for the families and caregivers trying to hold everything together.
I'm excited to keep building this series alongside my work in healthcare AI, medical research, and patient education.

Love Doesn’t Need Words is a compassionate children’s book created to help families understand brain injury, recovery, and the many ways love can still be expressed without spoken words. Through gentle storytelling and warm illustrations, it follows a young bear learning to connect with Papa Bear after a serious accident. I developed the story, characters, visual direction, page concepts, and family-centered messaging to make a difficult subject feel safe, hopeful, and understandable for children.

I’m currently developing a collection of compassionate, research-informed resources for caregivers and families navigating difficult medical situations. This work includes educational graphics, plain-language guides, and supportive content designed to make complex health information feel clearer, kinder, and less overwhelming.
I’m also beginning to offer healthcare and caregiver content services to organizations, advocates, and professionals who want their information to feel both trustworthy and genuinely human. 💜
