🚀 Project Overview
Aura Workspace is an adaptive operating canvas designed to ensure disabled, neurodivergent, and non-verbal freelancers are never seen differently, under-represented, or under-utilized in the global marketplace. Traditional collaboration platforms rely heavily on uniform visual noise and rigid, fine-motor precision—inadvertently creating barriers for incredible talent. Aura changes the paradigm by allowing the entire interface to dynamically morph based on an individual's cognitive, sensory, or physical accessibility needs today, making asynchronous remote work on Contra a frictionless reality.
🛠️ The Innovative AI Workflow
To build a true production-ready prototype before the deadline, I completely integrated Figma’s latest AI suite with a live data layer:
Figma Weave (Visual Identity): Used visual AI workflows to generate custom, ambient fluid wavy background art. These soft pastel lavenders and warm cream layers serve a functional purpose—acting as a calming sensory buffer to actively reduce cognitive fatigue across the application.
Figma Make (Prompt to Code): Instantly compiled the core modular dashboard architecture from prompts directly into responsive code containers.
Figma Design (Craft & Alignment): Utilized the canvas agent to strictly enforce accessible design system spacing, perfectly grouping layout blocks into clean 8pt Auto Layout grids.
Supabase Integration (Full-Stack Data): Connected a live Postgres database directly through the Figma Make panel. Toggling the interface modes fires live state transitions, proving that a user's accessibility preferences persist dynamically across sessions.
⚡ Core Adaptive Modalities Designed
Aura moves accessibility out of a boring compliance checklist and turns it into an elite interactive experience across three distinct states:
Standard Mode: A gorgeous, minimalist, high-end SaaS environment utilizing variable typography and generous component padding.
Neuro-Focus Mode: Designed specifically to reduce sensory overload. With one click, the system strips away busy sidebars, applies an ultra-high contrast dark ground layout to project cards, and increases typography line-spacing by 1.5x to improve readability.
Motor-Assist Mode: Built for physical mobility limits and tremors. The standard interface elements completely transform into oversized, 64-pixel clickable touch targets resting on an explicit 32-pixel magnetic snapping grid, completely eradicating accidental tap errors.
