Cultural Echo: A UI System That Shapes Collective Behavior Through Visual Resonance
No existing app actively shapes cultural norms; instead, it reacts to them. This project does the opposite.
The Problem:
Current apps (e.g., messaging) reinforce existing cultural biases (e.g., Western-centric layouts, individualism over community), and do not encourage users to engage in more inclusive, collaborative, or culturally conscious activities.
The Innovation:
This is a UI system that modifies its visual language in real time based on group context rather than user preferences. It gently leads users toward actions that are consistent with shared cultural values (e.g., empathy, community care).
