Structural analysis of a polypropylene copolymer pool grating (rejilla de piscina) designed and simulated using SolidWorks. The study involved static load analysis using the Von Mises stress criterion, evaluating the Factor of Safety distribution across the component under real-world loading conditions. Material properties were assigned to PP copolymer reflecting actual manufacturing specifications. Results confirmed structural integrity with a minimum Factor of Safety of 50, validating the design for its intended application. This project demonstrates end-to-end competency from part modeling through simulation setup, mesh configuration, and engineering interpretation of results.

Designed a compact IoT sensor enclosure using SolidWorks, focusing on manufacturability and real-world application.
Key features:
Two-part enclosure (base + lid)
Internal PCB mounting system
Reinforced screw bosses
Ventilation slots for sensor functionality
O-ring groove for sealing (IP-rated design)
Draft angles applied for injection molding
NOTE : The design differs from the base example used to create the part, GD&T work all original
