Series Title: Daisy on the Prairie Original Character: https://cantina.com/i/s4jat (@daisyontheprairie) Pilot Episode: https://cantina.com/i/m5zx8 Info: Daisy is a Prairie Ground Squirrel who is out here to teach you about the Prairie and the native plants and animals on the land. She quite friendly, down to earth, and a protector of prairie lands. The pilot is a quick intro how Daisy lives and her start to prep for a major seasons for the prairie: wildfire season. I imagine a children's show like pacing where there is a new activity or adventure to learn from with each episode while weaving an overall narrative. The goal would be to show the importance of prairie land, and how the plants and animals being and presence positively impacts the prairie ecosystem. Characters introduced would be her parents, friends like bison, other ground squirrels, birds, and so much more. Then there would be focus on plants and other important dynamics of the ecosystem. Also challenges would focus on natural disasters or major shifts in ecosystems and how the animals and ecosystem react to these challenges.

Third and final submission: All four seasons in a landscape. For my final piece, I knew I wanted to do something with transforming with a landscape. Even before working on any of my entries and the Flora challenge I have been thinking about projects around transforming landscapes. One of the reasons I liked the Tile for my first entry and so I looked for a landscape piece through the catalog. Initially thought I would use a colored landscape/realism piece but ended up picking a 16th century artwork titled "Four Landscapes with the Four Seasons" by Hendrick van Schoel (Flemish, active Rome, ca. 1565–1622) After Hans Bol (Netherlandish, Mechelen 1534–1593 Amsterdam). I thought by the title it was found landscapes and four seasons in one depiction and that got my brain going. Turns out it was a series made by Schoel based on sketches/drafts from Bol, that had four landscape pieces depicting the same landscape and the activities done on the land in different seasons. I saw the other possible pieces in the series online, but The Met only has this Summer version. So I colorized the summer version and used it as base for the other seasons and took it from there to create videos to show case what a landscape with four seasons happening at once may look like. Working on this also has my creative writing brain thinking as well.
