Reflecting on my submissions to the Notion Buildathon and how my first idea was really niche for very specific workflows. So, as of now, it has no downloads. My 2nd and 3rd ideas have broader scopes that allows more individuals to find use for them.
As of today 14 people have downloaded my Social Media Planning Tool, and a brand new download for my Book Trends and Sales Tracker. Hopefully they find these tools as useful as I intended them to be.
Definitely gained more confidence from this buildathon, as I was coming up with ideas left and right once things started flowing. I had reflected on previous work and needs and where the custom agent would make sense in similar work flows.

I was hoping this agent was approved before I called it quits yesterday but looks like it came through right after lol. This was the third agent I finished during the notion buildathon.
It is agent I made to try and scour the web for any semblance of book and book sales trends. You can also have it focusing on certain data that you may have access to.

And of course, because I couldn't help myself, I started making other agents. So sharing those as well.
This one is based off seeing multiple companies have posts clash with breaking news cycles that turns into something on the spectrum of negative discourse to outrage. Now, it was not intentionally built to stop a post if it matches an alert per say, but maybe possible depending on if you have a lot of your work flows rigged through Notion? If not, you could possible build a custom agent to do so.
Regardless, you can have your social media plans receive suggestions based on emerging social media trends and news cycles.

After messing up my notion workspace details, waiting for access, diving right in, getting feedback, and then waiting for approval we are finally here at my first Contra contest submission ever!
I have wanted to do other Contra challenges before but I am still working on upskilling in some of the different tools I have been introduced to since joining this platform. Also still working through how I would want incorporate AI into how I work along with ethics I hold important. So the Notion Custom Agent challenge was a great opportunity to explore all of this (and learn another new tool). As many have expressed AI is a tool that doesn't, and shouldn't, replace the human in decisions and creativity. It can be quite the aide when used appropriately.
Well anyway (lol), my first submission is a Candidate Sourcing Priority Tracker. The goal was to create tool to help teams see which job requisitions get sourcing support priority based on application data and other factors. Updates over time. Based on my experiences of having only so many outreach credits and balancing the demands of different requisitions with different needs and candidate profiles.

Start the 1st phase of my project roll outs for 2026! To kick things off I decided I wanted to do a Poetry Share Out on the 1st day of 2026.

Did anyone else see their Canva Design DNA results? I apparently got "The Ghost" and I am trying to figure out what that exactly means lol. Apparently I used the Transparency tool quite a bit so not sure if that is related. Apparently 6% of Canva users are categorized as "The Ghost."

I have been working on different projects, and trying to get them to a point where they are shiny shiny from all the sweat and tears (no/minimal blood I guess?).
For some of my projects it really has been a long time coming. So I'm excited and nervous to polish them up and release them to the world.

Now that the Creative Sprint is over. Here is a summary of what happened of 14+ days of posting:
- Posted everyday during the sprint
-Using the time to really think about tools and projects
-Created creative work which I haven't done in a while
- I am roughly at 5000+ words out of my 50,000 goal for NaNo month. So now, I will try to play catch up by writing a whole lot of words today and tomorrow.
-Somehow ended up being #1 for upgoating posts two weeks in a row. I thought everybody was using them lol. I truly upgoat posts/designs that make me feel something and somedays it really is hard to just pick 2 posts. So much talent on Contra. I am going to let this go though so I don't become goat obsessed 😂 (And hopefully they keep switching the sounds since they took away my precious and lovely scream)

After some prolonged thought, I decided to share a snippet of my marketing plan for my personal projects that will hopefully kick off in December. Very much a work in progress. I'm planning in a way that makes things flexible and manageable.
Well, I started off in Figma then went to Canva trying to figure how I wanted to present this lol. Started off doing way too much with not enough time, so decided to use this simple graphic. Even though the sprint maybe wrapping up, there is more to come from me. 🚀

Drew a blank for the second to last day of the Create Everyday sprint. Have nothing planned for tomorrow so we will see how tomorrow goes lol. Of course it is towards the end where I start having a little bit of trouble.
After looking at my calendar and thinking about my projects, I decided to highlight how I get started with event conception since I am working on events/workshops that will hopefully take place through out the next few months.
Sometimes there is your standard need. Sometimes my goals. Other times, I just want to do something (like hang out with others or invite others to activity I want to do). And then I get to planning. Some events, the concept is the event itself. Sometimes an event happens because I came up with a concept I really wanted to try out. Or the concept is hammered out during planning.

As usual, life be lifin', so I pushed back for my plan for today's Create Every Day post to create this emergency lovely graphic. I made this graphic to post on social media about a litter of 4 feral kittens who need fostering, along with a roughly 10 month older kitten who was abandoned by their owners who got tired of taking care of a cat and forcibly abandoned them on caretakers of a cat colony.
If by chance you are in the Chicagoland area and would like to foster kittens through a nonprofit cat rescue please feel free to DM me. And it doesn't have to be these kittens (as feral kittens are whole different ball game). You can help make room for them with more experience fosters by taking on other kittens or cats. Another previously planned post that fit the Create Every Day sprint. Today is Monday and I am definitely focused on catching up and making things happen. Ngl, stressed though so not exactly sip and pain vibes like I wanted lol. Focused nevertheless.
My plan today is to finish my sessions and emails, some clean up on my todo list, and produce a gazillion words for my Novel Challenge.

Today for my Create Everyday, I focused on getting a sense of Figma. It is a tool I definitely had heard and seen in action before, but never in a position to use it. It was pretty much what I expected it was capable of and more. I don't think it will take me long to learn the basics, as more so how do I level up to the advanced usage and integrations with other design tools. I know I will have to pick a initiative/project to focus my upskilling.
I attached a souvenir from my exploration in Figma, a creation inspired by the recent cold. Wanted to share this versus all my other test runs that looked like kindergarten drawing sessions lol.

Some of my quick thoughts on being more intentional with measuring impact. Whether your an individual working on a small project or an organization rolling out a new initiative.
A lot more individuals and organizations would benefit so much for being more intentional and thoughtful. I have seen many projects/initiatives falter and just get washed as a total failure when really it was other factors that were disregard that impacted the success and desire results. (Honestly, a lot of us could probably share a story or two at the very least about this very thing.)
Between this, and wanting to try to make working and work places a better place to be, that is one of the reasons why I have been building up the skillset and experience to impact these areas.

Wanted to share a glimpse of an overall design and content strategy my budding, creative self likes to do.
I made this example flier for program and design review service but it reflects some of the approaches I like to take with any work that needs creativity.
For this example sometime I pick layouts/pre-made design templates that really lean into the topic. Colors and images included. I will adjust things for size of content and visual impact on the overall design.
Also the mock up content itself reflects my project and program design approaches that I would incorporate into other types of projects.

I found contra pretty much right before the relaunch of the community. It definitely has been a lot to take in so quickly. I am amazed at the community in terms of culture along with the talent that I see.
It is a little intimidating. I always have been a creative person, but have taken other routes and focuses while adding creativity in many things that I do, including personal projects that I am working on.
I am taking the moment of joining Contra as new opportunity to upskill in areas that I always wanted to dabble into. I have used technically tools here or there, and seen some in action by others. I have learned so much already and will continue to do so.
In the mean time, I am truly a strategist at heart. I have experience from project management to working on creative adjacent projects. Hope to start here as I grow.
