Using Midjourney as part of a client animation workflow I’ve been using Midjourney to develop scenes and characters for a children’s animated music video, then bringing the still imagery into Kling for animation and CapCut for the final edit. One of the biggest challenges has been maintaining visual consistency from scene to scene while still responding to client revisions — character scale, expressions, clothing, environment and continuity all matter once individual AI generations become part of a larger story. It’s been an interesting reminder that generating the image is really only the beginning. The bigger creative challenge is turning those generations into something that works as a cohesive finished production. Here are a few frames from the project and how they developed.

One Drop, One World Description A single drop of water becomes the thread connecting an entire world. Created as a continuous one-take journey with CapCut Seedance 2.5, the camera follows water through shifting scales and environments—from vast natural landscapes and the depths of the ocean to a tiny droplet suspended from a leaf, before following it onward into a flowing mountain stream. The goal was to make every transformation feel like part of the same uninterrupted movement, using water itself to carry the viewer from one scene to the next. Created with CapCut Seedance 2.5.

Human by Design 🌲 For the Envato Challenge, I created Atlas Pine—a fictional outdoor brand inspired by the idea that every journey begins with a choice. Rather than letting AI make every decision, I used it as a creative partner. Human decisions shaped the final result: • Researching and selecting the brand name. • Choosing a green alpine meadow to represent an all-season brand. • Designing a minimalist logo and visual identity. • Blending Envato stock footage with AI-generated product shots. • Editing, pacing, typography, music, and storytelling to create a cohesive brand experience.
