Lazy Hack: Some of my design textures come from random photos I took. Your surroundings are full of design gems.
Take photos just for the sake of it. Not every shot needs a purpose right away. Build your own texture library from real life, and you'll always have something authentic to pull from. Future you will thank you.

Quick design challenge: no overthinking, no perfectionism, just create. I cranked out these geometric patterns over several days.
Most of these are animated in Rive too, just experimenting with how keyframe animation works there.

I took some old drawings, photos, and patterns and mocked up what they'd look like as a wearable piece. The design is all mine, but I used AI to create a model visualization/mockup. I wanted to see how it would actually look before producing anything real.
Testing the waters on whether my designs translate well to physical merch.

Not because we had everything, but because we had parents who believed in us when our hobbies didn't make sense yet.
Thank you to the moms and dads who bought the first drawing tablet, taught us how to PIE RATE design software, drove us to art classes, and never once said "get a real job" when we chose this path. You invested in something special: our creativity, our passion, our future.
A special shout-out to my parents. Thank you for everything!

I threw away hours of work to revise.
First version? Almost done. Probably 80% complete.
Second version? Started from zero since I don't feel like the first version is enough.
My lesson for today is: Don't be afraid to pivot, even when you're almost done. (on a case-by-case basis haha)

Scrolled through Google Fonts today and found three typefaces I'll be using in personal projects. The best part? They're completely free for commercial use! Google Fonts is an absolute goldmine for quality typography.
