Hi, I’m Karina Lopez, a creative lead with 10+ years of experience bringing stories to life through animation, motion, and video.

At WEBTOON, I built and led the internal video team from the ground up, serving as Art Director, Associate Creative Director, and eventually Creative Director. I worked with a powerhouse crew of motion designers, 2D/3D animators, editors, and writers to craft bold, eye-catching content tailored for Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and millennial audiences.

From launching stylized animated trailers to directing high-performing social videos and paid campaigns, I developed scalable pipelines that brought character-driven stories to life on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. I also oversaw visual storytelling across immersive brand experiences, from viral memes to Comic-Con booths.

Whether it’s a beautiful piece of animation, a perfectly timed video edit, or a cinematic campaign, I love helping fandoms discover their next obsession.
