I picked a real flower shop near Kapaleeswarar Temple in Mylapore, run by R. Karthikeyan. For years their entire online presence was just a Google Maps pin. No website, no way to order without calling the shop directly.
I built them a full ordering site in Base44, mobile first, with daily fresh stock, a subscription option for daily pooja flowers, and a separate flow for bulk wedding and event orders.
The automation I'm most proud of is a festival and pooja day demand alert. Flower demand in Chennai spikes hard on Fridays, Pradosham, Ekadasi, Navaratri and other dates that shift every year on the lunar calendar. The system now automatically reminds the shop owner a few days ahead to stock extra jasmine, rose and lotus, and nudges customers to pre book before stock runs out. It's a small thing, but for someone who has been tracking all this from memory, it genuinely helps.
The version shared here runs on demo data so anyone can explore it freely. The real production build with the shop's actual details has already been handed over to them.

Grateful for the chance to actually help a small local business instead of just building something for a portfolio.
