Project Title: Clippings — Navigating the AI Job Market Black Hole
The Problem:
Modern job seeking feels like a black hole. Platforms like LinkedIn are choked with noise, and corporate applicant tracking systems (ATS) use sterile AI algorithms to filter out talented applicants before a human ever sees their resume. It’s a broken system that strips the personality out of hiring.
The Solution:
Clippings is a highly editorial, modern job-seeking platform designed specifically for tech and design professionals. Taking structural and typographic inspiration from classic newspaper classifieds, Clippings focuses on instant utility and clarity.
Users drag and drop their resume first—experiencing instant value before even creating an account. The platform dynamically matches applicants to tech roles, calculates compatibility scores, highlights crucial skill gaps, and features an interactive "Scrapbook" area to scan and analyze external job descriptions found across the web.

Time-to-Value Onboarding: Upload a PDF resume instantly to view matches before onboarding friction.
The 3-Column Newspaper Grid: A strict, premium digital-journalism layout built for high performance in both Light and Dark modes.
AI Auto-Tailoring & Print Room: Instantly adjust resumes to match target roles and export clean, print-ready PDFs.
Designed entirely using Figma Make with a focus on advanced Auto Layout, clean variable systems, and interactive prototyping.
