I believe that good design is not seen, but felt.

I always start projects with my hands, paper and pen. There is a term in German that perfectly describes this: “Denken mit der Hand”. German philosopher Immanuel Kant said: “The hand is the window to the mind”.

To me design is first and foremost a thinking process based on a good understanding of people and the way they interact with the product. I see it as a connecting matter between the user and the product.

From time to time I like to find inspiration in sacred geometry and golden ratio.

Having a formal education in software engineering and moving into user experience design I think of myself as an “design engineer ”.
