Everyone assumes “AI image” means one prompt and done. Here's what actually happened behind one recent piece.
The brief: a premium commercial visual for a smart-glasses brand, without the sterile “rendered” look most AI work still has.
The actual pipeline:
Base generation in Nano Banana Pro, built for structural consistency across every angle
Retouch and colour grade in Photoshop, same as any studio shot.
Motion and transitions in Kling 3.0 Omni for the moving sequence.
The generated scenes were then gathered, edited and paced in CapCut.
A 4K upscale pass through Magnific, with a deliberate grain layer added on purpose — so it reads as photographed, not rendered.
Five tools, one intent: make the AI disappear into the craft instead of announcing itself. This is the actual argument for hybrid work — not “AI vs. photography,” but AI held to photography's standard.
What's the biggest misconception you run into about AI-assisted creative work?
