In 2024, I was invited to participate at a panel discussion at Cranbrook Academy of Art. At this panel discussion, I delivered a presentation about the re-granting process at nonprofit organizations, and general advice about applying for grants. I also answered direct questions from students about best practices when applying for grants.
Here is a sample of my presentation on best practices for applying for grants in the arts and culture sector.

I would love to share one of my favorite creative writing projects with you.
I had the pleasure of writing a play for The Henry Ford Museum's Holiday Nights program, in Greenfield Village. The play, I Hope They Like My Gift, has been apart of The Henry Ford Museum's Holiday Nights program since 2023, to the present. I Hope They Like My Gift was based off of an exhibit that showcased the lives of a black family that were sharecroppers during The Great Depression. I worked with a curator to learn about this family's lifestyle and practices during the holiday season, to ensure that my script was historically accurate.
My goal was to a create a humorous, heart-warming story that relates to many different audiences. Feel free to take a look at a sample of my work!

Currently reflecting on one of my favorite contracted jobs.
I assisted more than 50 high-profile speakers, performers, and their guests throughout the TED Countdown Summit 2023, as a Speaker Support Assistant.
I implemented a strategic schedule, ensuring they went to all their appointments, events, and rehearsals. I effectively communicated and worked with multiple teams such as the production crew, catering staff, presentation preparation mentors, venue employees, and hair and makeup. I efficiently worked with fellow team members and supervisors during fast-paced circumstances, and reported useful information at the end of the day to ensure an overall effective and pleasant experience for speakers, performers, guests, and fellow team members.
I truly enjoyed working with the TED team!

Reflecting on the work I've done at The Henry Ford Museum, for their Old Car Festival program. I worked with the Dramatic Programs team to revamp their depiction and presentation of the women's suffrage movement. Feel free to read an article about my work below!
